PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The conference will take place at the University of Orléans (on the periphery of the city) at 10 rue de Tours, 45100 ORLÉANS

If you come by plane

Orléans does not have an airport. You will therefore have to go through Paris and then join Austerlitz Station or Bercy Station to get to Orléans by train or bus.

If you come by train

Trains run very regularly between Paris Gare d'Austerlitz and Orléans. The ticket costs a maximum of €25 and the journey takes just over an hour. Orléans has two stations: Orléans-Centre and Les Aubrais. The second is only 10 minutes from the centre by tram.

If you come by bus

The Ouibus and Flixbus companies regularly run a shuttle service between Paris and Orléans. All buses leave from the vicinity of Bercy station. The journey is a little longer than by train, but you can sometimes find tickets for 5€.

If you come by car

The Blablacar site can offer you carpooling trips in the range of 10€.

Accommodation

You can find hotels in the centre of Orléans or in the other districts of the city. Hotels in the city centre are more expensive but more convenient if you want to visit the city. However, they are at least 30 minutes by tram from the university. If you prefer to stay in the vicinity of the conference location, cheaper hotels are located in the Olivet industrial area only a few stations from the University.

Moving around Orléans

Orléans has a good public transit network. The tram A is the link between the centre and the university (Station: l'Indien). Bus 7 is also an option if you are leaving from the station. The circulation frequency decreases after 7pm. More information can be found at http://www.reseau-tao.fr/.

REGISTRATION

Registration will open next week. The registration fee will be as follows:

Full: 60€

Student: 30€

Member of the LLL laboratory: free of charge

There will also be a gala dinner (optional) for 33€/person and a buffet (also optional) for 15€/person/day.

MAIN AND SPECIAL THEMES

Topics of interest may relate to phonology in general or in specific language, in synchronic or in diachronic dimensions. Issues focusing on phonology and its interfaces, epistemology, descriptive phonology, experimental phonology,  phonological modeling or formalism are awaited.

This year's conference, we especially encourage submissions focusing on the four following topics:
